Studio Kaiju was born in March 2003, when Colin Reboy, then a mere 9 years old, went on a road trip from Buffalo, NY to a horror film convention in Cleveland, OH to interview TV's Catwoman, Julie Newmar, for his school television station.
Countless road trips later, Colin and his family are still busy interviewing celebrities, seeing the world, and having a wonderful time.
Throughout this site, you will have the chance to relive some of our most memorable. Hopefully, there'll be many more to come in the future.
Our name is derived from the Japanese word "Kaiju", which, to put it in very simple terms, means "Large Lizard That Stomps On Tokyo", such as Godzilla, Rodan, and, of course, our own "Spokes-Monster" pictured above, Kenny Kaiju. The name derives from Colin's love of Japanese pop culture, and a tip of the hat to many of our friends who provide voices for Japanese product brought over into the USA.
